Antique 1894 Malacca Hunting Whip with Foliate Silver Collar - w1778 arab Both cheeks are stamped "AThis long gents whip has a staghorn or antler hook shaped handle with a raised "gatepusher" section. It has a silver collar with crisply cast foliate decoration. This is hallmarked Birmingham 1894 and stamped with the silversmith's mark "BM" There is a shield with an engraved monogram (? S. I. H.) on the other side of the collar The stock or shaft is made of golden brown malacca cane. It has a leather stitched keeper or tongue at its end. Dimensions :
